About ICTD
The International Congress on Technical Diagnostics (original Polish name: Międzynarodowy Kongres Diagnostyki Technicznej) is a series of meetings for representatives from science and industry addressing issues related to the theory and practice of technical diagnostics. The congress is organised cyclically (every four years) in various Polish cities. The idea of the meeting is to provide an international platform for the world’s industrial partners and researchers to share ideas and the latest concepts on the diagnostics of machines, vehicles, constructions, materials and industrial processes, as well as the maintenance of all kinds of technical facilities. The official language of the congress is English.
The 8th International Congress on Technical Diagnostics – ICTD 2026 will take place in Gdańsk (Poland) in 2026. It is organised by the Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Polish Naval Academy and the Polish Association of Technical Diagnostics.

CONGRESS VENUE
The ICTD 2026 congress will be held in Gdańsk (Poland).
Gdańsk is a 1,000-year-old port city, the capital of the Pomeranian region, situated in northern Poland on the Baltic Sea coast. It is Poland’s principal seaport and the centre of the country’s fourth-largest metropolitan area. This historic city has much to offer our participants after the congress sessions. It boasts several important historical attractions, such as the Royal Route, a famous promenade street of Polish kings, as well as historic cathedrals and medieval ports. Among the many tourist attractions, the most notable are Mariacka Street, the Long Market (Polish: Długi Targ), St. Mary’s Church, and the European Solidarity Centre, among others.
The congress venue will be located in the central part of Gdańsk, near the old town, providing easy access to the heart of the city.
